Felix Schulze is an abstract artist with a background in craftsmanship.

Born into a family of carpenters, his path led him from the traditional workshop through Dortmund and Berlin to Switzerland. What began with wood, paint, and materials evolved over the years into a profound process of self-development.

His art combines craftsmanship, design, inner work, well-being, and the pursuit of freedom. His paintings are an expression of a journey where old patterns gave way to authenticity, confinement to expansiveness, and conformity to a unique, free life.

Felix Schulze is an abstract artist with a craftsmanship background.

Born into a family of carpenters in 1986, he grew up in a world shaped by work, duty, and clear structures. From an early age, he was burdened with a backpack of expectations, conformity, and old patterns—a legacy that many generations had carried.

His first steps led him to his grandfather's traditional workshop. There, he learned the craft from the ground up, completed his carpentry apprenticeship, and later his master craftsman's degree. Wood, surface, precision, and material became his first language. At the same time, a longing for freedom, expression, and a life that felt broader than what was predetermined grew within him.

With the move to the city, a new chapter began. In Dortmund, a space opened up for the first time where art could emerge—and with it, a deep feeling of freedom. What began as a creative impulse quickly became something much bigger: art became a way to unpack the old backpack, layer by layer. It became a space for development, for processing childhood, for inner clarification, and for the question of what is truly real in life.

Later, his path led him to Berlin. There, Felix worked not only as a master carpenter and freelancer in the intersection of craft, art, and design but also in training young people and adults. Berlin became another place of opening: professionally, personally, and artistically. Here he also started his family and became a father of two children.

Over the years, it became increasingly clear that his art is far more than a material process. It combines material, time, self-development, and well-being. His pictures became expressions of an inner journey: limiting beliefs transformed into new attitudes, confinement became expansiveness, conformity became authenticity.

Today, Felix Schulze lives in Switzerland and has decided to consciously step out of the rat race. In addition to art, he dedicates himself intensely to holistic health, the topics of mindset, nutrition, body awareness, and inner growth. In his current work, what defines him at his core comes together: craft, art, design, self-development, health, and the deep yearning for a free, authentic life.

His art is more than design.
It is an expression of liberation.
A path to greater authenticity.
And an invitation to get closer to oneself in one's own life.
